What joystick do you use with ARMA?
I just use a Logitech 3D pro. It’s a pretty cheap entry level joystick, but it gets the job done. Arma’s flight model isn’t too realistic, so you don’t need to worry honestly about things like pedals or rudders as actual physical attachments. You might enjoy the thrustmaster a bit more as it has that built in throttle, but it’s preference.
Is this a problem with my HOTAS X stick?

Is ARMA 3 hard to play with a stick?
Disclaimer: I mostly fly transport so my weapons configuration is pretty sparse. Arma 3 has poor support for analogue throttle controls, and most of your power is going to be in the top 25% of your throttle no matter how you set it up. It’s not a problem with your stick – it’s the game.
