FYI, the black burns off the surfaces the brake pads touch. That’s OK, as the rest of the rotor is protected by the black coating to prevent rust.

??? Maxbrakes are really cheap stuff to begin with. Those slots and drilled wore down the pads even quicker. I would generally suggest blank rotors today as they are far superior to drilled or slotted or combo of those on the aftermarket today. Appreciate the review, the condition looks horrible for less than a year of use.
