Can you join all covenants in Dark Souls?
There are many different Covenants in Dark Souls, and the one which you join can have various different effects on your game experience. You can only join one Covenant at a time – joining another will overwrite the current Covenant you are a member of.
What happens if you abandon covenant?
It is possible to leave or abandon a covenant by joining another covenant. However, abandoning a covenant in this manner will count as a sin, which will make the player the target of Dark Moon invasions unless they absolve their sins via Oswald of Carim, for a fee equal to their level times 500.
Can you farm vertebra shackles?
A cheesy way to farm Vertebra Shackles is to get a friend to summon you via the Red Sign Soapstone and allow you to kill them repeatedly while you are a Mound-Maker. They do not need to have their Ember to summon you, and if they stay near a bonfire they will have no risk of losing any souls they may have.
What enemies drop sunlight medals?

In summary: Abandoning covenant is not the same as betrayal (i.e. when you are kicked out of a covenant) If you leave a covenant with or without Oswald, your offerings are halved and you lose rank accordingly.
