How much Propalin Can I give my dog?
The recommended dose is 0.8mg phenylpropanolamine/kg bodyweight (equivalent to 1mg/kg phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride/kg) 3 times daily in the feed, corresponding to 0.1 ml Propalin Syrup/5 kg bodyweight 3 times daily. The absorption rate is increased if the product is administered to fasted dogs.
What is Propalin used for?
Phenylpropanolamine (brand names: Proin®, Propalin®, Cystolamine®, Uricon®, Uriflex-PT®) is a sympathomimetic medication used to treat urinary incontinence due to poor muscle tone in the urethral sphincter.
How do you administer Propalin syrup?
Dosage: The recommended dose for Propalin is 1mg/kg bodyweight 3 times daily in the feed corresponding to 0.1 ml Propalin Syrup / 5 kg bodyweight 3 times daily or to 1 drop of Propalin Syrup per 2 kg bodyweight 3 times daily using the dropper.
Does Propalin make dogs sleepy?

Can dogs overdose on Propalin?
In healthy dogs, no side effects were observed at up to 5 times the recommended dosage. However, an overdose of phenylpropanolamine could produce symptoms of excessive stimulation of the sympathic nervous system. Treatment should be symptomatic.
