I heard about Armand Bayou Nature Center in 1997 when I first visited the area and then went to the place for the first time in 2000 – I was still living in England at that time. It wasn’t until 2004 when we moved to Texas that I started getting really interested and by the end of 2005 I was hooked and volunteering out there.
