Is the FN FAL reliable?
The FAL is accurate, has a good punch (it uses the 7.62X51mm NATO round), and an excellent combat range. On the downside, it needs proper maintenance, is a little bit less compact than modern battle rifles, and also quite heavy.
Are FN FAL still made?
The FN-FAL as originally produced by Fabrique Nationale de Herstal in Liège, Belgium is no longer in production. But there are countries licensed to produce them that are at least still producing parts for them, if not complete rifles.
