In my opinion, Education is a learning experience from which people gain knowledge. Education can come in all forms, as we can learn essential information and life skills at anytime, anywhere. What do you value about education? We always learn how to overcome whatever comes our way.

Why is education important give your views?

It helps people become better citizens, get a better-paid job, shows the difference between good and bad. Education shows us the importance of hard work and, at the same time, helps us grow and develop. Thus, we are able to shape a better society to live in by knowing and respecting rights, laws, and regulations.

What is a successful education system?

The best education systems in the world focus tightly on key concepts, teach them in depth at an early age, and ensure that students master the basics from which to build. Teachers should be highly prized. Rather, the systems that spend their money on teachers and curriculum development tend to do better.

What are your views on the changes in the new education system of India?

With emphasis on Early Childhood Care and Education, the 10+2 structure of school curricula is to be replaced by a 5+3+3+4 curricular structure corresponding to ages 3-8, 8-11, 11-14, and 14-18 years respectively. The new system will have 12 years of schooling with three years of Anganwadi/ pre schooling.

What changes you want in education system?

Not everyone can afford the education system that they offer. Hence, the government needs to take the baton in their hands and eradicate rote learning from the schools at all the levels. The schools must be encouraged to introduce conceptual learning which avoids students to mug up what they are being taught.

What are your views on the prevailing system of education in our country?

Our present education system tests our memory power (rote learning), not our intelligence and hence, learning is discouraged. If children don’t learn, they will never be able to understand how to make India a better place, because their basic aim would just be to score, and not to think about the nation.

Which country has hardest education system?

South Korea has a 6 day week From Monday to Saturday and a 9 to 6 pm school day. Their Maths is not as hard as China or Japan but they must learn 4 languages. From easiest to hardest English, Japanese, Chinese and Korean itself.

Why Indian education system is not good?

Lack of Interest. 90% of the education is theoretical with minuscule scope for practical learning and research on the part of the pupils. There is no space for creative learning and thinking and students are always bound to a specific syllabus and are not really encouraged to go out and about their seems.
