In fact, you should expect to perform several tasks in a college English course, including conducting close readings on assigned texts, composing research essays and analyses, developing critical-thinking skills and learning the appropriate ways to revise your papers.
What I have learned in English?
I finally learned how to read and write (and I think it is a good feeling to learn a bit of grammar). These are what I have learned about them, I use them everyday. I can use this knowledge to not only write tasks when reading stories or reading classes, but also reading newspapers and writing notes to friends.

TEXTS: You will use an anthology or packet of readings and Diana Hacker’s A Writer’s Reference. COMPUTERS: You are expected to type your essays in order to facilitate revision.
