What is a NAGA Champion?
NAGA presents team championship belts to those who win one of these categories: Adult Overall (total points of gi plus no-gi), Adult No-Gi, Adult Gi, Children & Teens Overall (combination of no-gi and gi points). These are awesome awards that look incredible when displayed in your academy.
How long are NAGA matches?
All Adult Divisions are 4 minutes in length except Adult Intermediate/Blue which are 5 minutes and Adult Advanced/Purple, Brown& Black belts which are 6 minutes. All Master, Directors and Executives are 4 minutes. Divisions are single elimination, except in Semi final round (losers go for 3rd/4th).
How do you make a NAGA belt?
One belt can be won per tournament unless you win the absolute(s). If you win your adult no-gi expert division, purple belt, and absolute expert you would be awarded two belts. If you won expert no-gi and purple belt, you would be awarded one belt and a gold medal for the other win.
