Submitting your application Your SATAC reference number is a unique nine-digit number used for identification purposes, so it’s important that you keep a record of it.
How long does a SATAC application take?
A fee of $40 applies and you should allow up to 3 business days to process your request. SATAC is unable to supply replacement STAT certificates for tests undertaken interstate or in SA/NT before to 1996.
Can I still change my SATAC preferences?
If you wish to change or add new preferences after you have submitted your application through SATAC, you are able to do so as many times as you like, as long as it’s before the change of preference deadline.
What does not eligible mean on SATAC?
Current Year 12 students may see one of the following messages next to their preferences on the ‘Welcome’ page of their SATAC application: • Not currently eligible for consideration, or • Awaiting assessment These messages are normal where students’ Year 12 results are not yet attached to their application.
What is SATAC username?
You can retrieve your username and reset your password from the application login page. You will need to enter the email address you used to register your application. If you are having difficulty retrieving your login details contact SATAC for help.
What time do offers come out SATAC?
5.00pm
Offers emailed by 5.00pm. Offers will continue to be made in February and March for courses where there are still places available for semester 1 2022. Early offers for midyear and summer semester courses may be made to applicants not awaiting current year (2022) tertiary results.
Do you only get one offer per round?
You can only receive one offer in each offer round. If you receive an offer in one round and accept it, and then receive an offer in a later round, you can choose either to: keep your previous offer and not accept your new offer, or. accept your new offer and withdraw from the course you’ve already accepted.
What does SATAC year 12 Rank mean?
The Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) is a rank given to secondary school students on a range from 0 to 99.95. The ATAR shows how you performed in your studies compared to other students completing an Australian Year 12 program. SATAC calculates the ATAR for SACE and NTCET students.
How long does SATAC account last?
TAFE SA applications through SATAC are ‘lifelong’ applications, so you can log back into your existing application to apply for new courses.
How do SATAC applications work?
The application will ask you for relevant information about your skills and qualifications. SATAC will assess your application according to the selection criteria and ranking rules for each course you add to your preferences. Find out more about the application process and how selection works.
What is Year 12 rank on SATAC application?
Guaranteed entry
Guaranteed entry is the minimum year 12 selection rank (equivalent to an ATAR after any equity or subject adjustments have been applied) which will guarantee selection into a course/ program in 2019 for applicants competing with year 12 results.
How do I check my SATAC offers?
SATAC will notify you by email of any offers you receive. You can also check your offer status at any time by logging into your SATAC application. Note that SATAC will not notify you by email in the event that you do not receive an offer. It is your responsibility to find out whether you have received an offer.
