What size bolts do I need for my purlin?
The bolts specifications depend on the purlin size. The 150, 200 and 250mm purlins generally use standard M12, Grade 4.6 purlin bolts. The 300, 350 and 400mm purlins generally use standard M16, Grade 4.6 bolts. In some cases where the bolts are heavily loaded, high strength Grade 8.8 purlin bolts are to be used.
