What is Maryon Park?
Maryon Park is one of Greenwich’s Green Flag Award-winning sites. Formerly a quarry, it was once part of the estate of the Maryon Wilson family, former Lords of the Manor of Charlton.
What can you do at Maryon Wilson Park?
Maryon Wilson Park also has an animal park with ducks, geese, chickens, goats, pigs, and even a deer enclosure. The Green Chain Walk runs through the site. Important: Whilst the animal park is still accessible, the tours are not running due to Covid-19 social distancing guidelines.

When will Charlton Maryon Wilson Park re-open?
They will be closed from Monday 29 November through to Monday 6 December inclusive, re-opening again on Tuesday 7 December. Charlton Maryon Wilson Park, combined with an area within Maryon Park known as Gilbert’s Pit, was declared a Local Nature Reserve in 2005.
