Officially called the “East River Waterfront Esplanade”, the greenway goes into East River Park (at 40°43′03″N 73°58′27″W), which is a 57.5-acre (20 ha) public park located on the Lower East Side. The park stretches from East 12th Street down to Montgomery Street on the east side of the FDR Drive.
